The integration makes it easier than ever for property teams to manage package inflow and resident deliveries by automatically syncing resident and unit information from RealPage into the Smart Package Room system. Resident move-in’s, move-out’s and transfers will be automatically updated, ensuring that package access is always aligned with current lease data. The integration also eliminates manual data entry by property staff, reducing errors and administrative overhead. Plus, the secure API and encrypted data transfer will protect sensitive resident information.
Integrations are managed at the property level. Once complete, the site’s Smart Package Room system will receive an automatic update that will add the property’s full resident database into the system. From this moment on, when a resident’s package is delivered into the Smart Package Room system, they will receive an automatic QR code notification via text or email. When residents scan the QR code at the Smart Package Room kiosk, they will be granted entry into the secure, access-controlled room and directed via laser, light and audio guidance to their package. Precision tracking technology and a digital chain of custody ensure that residents pick up the correct package.
